Fretless Rock
Fretless Rock, a Violectric® ensemble, performs music from Bach to Boston, Mozart to Metallica. Our performers have been providing alternative music on their acoustic and electric string instruments as part of the Violectric® brand since 2011. This ensemble varies in size from a solo violin to a larger string group (violins/viola, cello, electric harp), with or without tracks, with or without a DJ. We focus on modern music played on acoustic, electric or our exclusive Violuminescence© LED lighted instruments and LaserBows©. We may be AMPLIFIED for events, or we may be stationary or strolling (wireless). This is perfect for awards ceremonies as we can do the “play-on, play-off” music as needed with clean starts and stops. We perform on either LED strolling electric strings with LaserBows© or amplified acoustic strings. A benefit of this group is that there is nothing required onstage as the musicians are completely wireless and can enter and exit the performance area with no “footprint.” All music is memorized, so musicians can stroll around the stage, room, or area within 300 feet of the backline setup. We interact easily with guests around the room and on the dance floor during our performance.
